Mission and Overview
The mission of Northern Territory Library is to develop communities through the delivery of appropriate Library services for all Territorians by:
- Connecting people to information
- Preserving NT documentary and cultural heritage
- Helping people learn
- Preserving and providing access to the Northern Territory’s documentary and cultural heritage.
- Delivering Library services to the public in partnership with Department of Education, Employment and Training (DEET), Community and Local Government.
- Providing leadership in the delivery of Library services in the Northern Territory.
- Providing services that enable access by Territorians to recorded global knowledge.
- Providing Library services to Parliament.
