Family History - Genealogy
The Northern Territory Library assists Territorians find out more about their ancestry through a free family history research service which offers a wide range of resources in both print and electronic formats, providing access to material relating to the NT, the other Australian States and Territories and overseas including:
- Birth, death and marriage records for all Australian states
- Convict and early settler records
- Electoral rolls
- Government gazettes
- Sands Directory (Sydney)
- Victorian Immigration and Shipping records
- Rookwood Cemetery Monumental inscriptions

The family history service is located on the upper mezzanine level of the Northern Territory Library at Parliament House.
