Online answers Australia-wide
Experience the convenience of an online interactive library visit and the expertise of professional librarians. AskNow is a national collaborative service offered by National, State and Territory libraries. When you ask a question you will be answered by librarians Australia-wide. The AskNow service is available from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Electronic Databases Online
Northern Territory Library has online databases available for all Northern Territory residents.

Are they free?
These Online Databases are not freely available on the World Wide Web, however your library pays an annual subscription fee to allow free access to Northern Territory residents.
Where can I access them?
You can use these resources on the library computers or, if you are a public library member, outside of the library (for example at home, at your office or school) via the Internet.
How can I access them?
To use the resources outside of the library, you need to be a member of a Northern Territory Public Library and have a login and password. Membership is free, and entitles you to a library login and password.
How do I get a login and password?
Phone 1800 019 155 or contact your library in person, over the phone, or via e-mail. The friendly staff will set you up with all the information you need.
Document Delivery
Document Delivery staff are able to assist you with getting materials held by other libraries throughout Australia and the world. If the library does not hold an item you need, document delivery staff can request an inter library loan on your behalf.
