Northern Territory Literary Awards

The 24th Northern Territory Literary Awards open on 1 March 2008

The Northern Territory Library encourages all Territorians interested in creative and academic writing to enter this year’s Awards. The Awards present writers with the perfect opportunity to express their literary talent and if short-listed, public recognition through the Awards publication and media acknowledgement.

In addition to the annual poetry, essay, short story and youth Awards, the Library welcomes Charles Darwin University Bookshop as a new sponsor for a travel short story award. It is a genre that both the Library and Bookshop believe will appeal to many enthusiastic travel writers. Dymocks Booksellers, Charles Darwin University, Kath Manzie Estate, Charles Darwin University Bookshop and the Northern Territory Library look forward to another successful Northern Territory Literary Awards year.

Material should be forwarded to the Northern Territory Library by close of business 31 May 2008.
