Reserve a PC Now

Public computer reservations at the library

Reservations can be made on-line or in person at the library's reservation station using your library membership number and password. Reservation times and advance reservations vary depending on your client privileges:
  • Registered researchers and Members of the Public Libraries of the Northern Territory can reserve up to two (2) hours per day.  This may be booked up to seven (7) days in advance.

  • Temporary members of the Public Libraries of the Northern Territory and guests can obtain a three (3) day library pass. This pass allows temporary members to book up to 30 minutes per day with an option of a further 30 minutes per day. This may be booked up to two (2) days in advance.

What you need to know about PC Reservation

  • When making a PC reservation clients need to book under their own library membership number as password.
  • Registered researchers and Members of the Public Libraries of the Northern Territory can book up to two (2) hours per day.  This may be booked up to seven (7) days in advance.
  • Clients with a three (3) day library pass may book two (2) day in advance.
  • Clients will not be able to make a booking if they have already used their allocated time for that day.
  • PC Reservation will give a five (5) minute warning before the session automatically closes itself. It will close all programs and does not save any information.
  • If a client is more than five (5) minutes late for their booking time the system will cancel the booking and deduct five (5) minutes from the available PC time for that day. Clients may make another booking if a PC is available.
  • Printing is available at a cost of 20 cents for B&W A4 and $1.50 for colour A4.
  • All PC users must read and accept the Conditions of Use before opening a session.
