Strategic Policy Launch
The Northern Territory Library Strategic Policy 2008-2012 (pdf 4Mb) was officially launched by the Minister for Local Government, the Hon Rob Knight MLA on 15 April 2008 at the Library in Parliament House.
The Strategic Policy Presentation (ppt 10Mb) provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the Northern Territory Library while the Strategic Policy 2008-2012 sets the direction for the future.
The Policy defines the way the library will progress into the future. Jo McGill, Director of NTL said the document would be a key communication tool for staff when dealing with a range of stakeholders and it clearly articulates the important role libraries play in communities.
